Food for Thought: Behind the Scenes
Anyone who has ever worked in entertainment knows that while the actors play major roles in a film or TV show’s success, there are also huge behind-the-scenes crews who are essential to making it all happen. Even when things don’t go smoothly or the unexpected occurs, it’s these “behind-the-scenes” teams who ensure the audience never notices because the challenges are met, and the show goes on.
It struck us recently at TFX that, funny enough: we actually live this every day. We’re often the “behind-the-scenes” team that powers decommissioning and liquidation projects, ensuring everything runs seamlessly so our clients’ ultimate goals are achieved.
We also frequently work as the “behind-the-scenes” partners providing services to consultants who outsource the project execution to us because of our hands-on expertise and end-to-end accountability for getting the work done on time and on budget.
That’s why it’s especially gratifying to receive feedback from one of those partners, Rheaply, who engages us on behalf of their clients to tackle their most complex projects.
Rheaply is a furniture asset management software and services provider with whom we often partner to execute decommissioning and liquidation work on behalf of their clients.
One of their client leads, Director of Sustainability and Partnerships, Emma Hopson, sent us the following message after a recent project we completed for one of their key clients in the entertainment business. In the email she said:
“Thank you to your entire team for helping us navigate it all. During such a complex project, I always knew we’d come out successfully on the other side because we had such a dependable partner in you. Your partnership enables us to confidently scale our services to productions nationwide…please know that your partnership was absolutely essential to the success of this project. We couldn’t have done it without your team’s hard work and expertise.”
You can tell from the case study on their website that this was no run-of-the-mill decommissioning project. Our work allowed Rheaply to focus on their core competency, leveraging their software to track assets throughout their useful life for a client company.
In all Rheaply projects, their promise is to ensure that once assets are no longer needed, they can be identified for sustainable decommissioning, reuse, or responsible recycling.
That’s where TFX comes in.
In this case, due to the specialized nature of the assets (which went far beyond just furniture) and the unique nature of the recipients we needed to find to bring new life for these assets, our project planning, management, logistics, and transportation expertise were essential to the overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the job. Rheaply’s end client knew there was a world-class “behind-the-scenes” team ensuring that complexity was no match for the TFX standard of performance.
We’re proud of the work we do to get the job done with accountability and a relentless focus on detail. Whether we’re working directly with end clients or through partners like Rheaply, we’re equally committed to excellence, reliability, and the creative problem-solving that drives successful outcomes.
When it’s time for your next decommissioning project (or if, like Rheaply, you have an end client you need to serve impeccably), call us for all the “behind-the-scenes” effort that keeps the show going and makes the performance applause-worthy.
We can’t wait to hear from you at inquiry@tfxfurniture.com.
